A warm welcome to the Ladies’ Section of Epsom Golf Club.
Our section is a thriving, sociable and friendly group. Our Lady Captain and Vice Captain work tirelessly to ensure we enjoy a variety of competitions on a weekly basis. We meet every Tuesday, or Saturday for our Business Ladies, throughout the year and participate in both competitive and fun competitions, details of which can be found in the DIARY section of the website.
The Club has excellent teaching and practice facilities which include an indoor GC2 golf simulator, putting green, chipping green and a practice/ teaching area, as well as THE ACADEMY, a years membership that includes extensive coaching and offpeak use of the course. It is run by our PGA Professionals and aimed at people just taking up or returning to the sport. Many of our Ladies have come through The Academy and are now enjoying playing in competitions alongside other members. Our Professionals offer individual lessons and hold a weekly group lesson for the Ladies on Thursday mornings from 10-11am, and everyone is welcome, whether a member or not.
New members are always made very welcome and quickly integrate into the Club. Regular fun competitions are organised throughout the year including Betterball, Foursomes, St Andrews Greensomes, Texas Scrambles and other formats. There is also the opportunity to participate in Mixed golf during the week and at weekends, both within the Club and in matches against other clubs, as well as entry into prestigious amateur events such as the Daily Mail Foursomes.
The Ladies are proud of the Club’s active social programme, which brings the members together for a wide variety of activities including bridge, quiz evenings, several dinners during the year and a full programme of events organised by the Entertainment Committee.
