  • Do not touch anything on the course, including flags
  • Wash or sanitise your hands regularly

1. Course Set-up

On-Course Items

All rakes have been removed

Hole and Flagstick

Flagsticks have been retained but when you get to the green please do not touch the flagstick. You will see that the hole cups have been turned upside down so you can very simply retrieve your ball without touching the flagstick. A hole liner has been used that means all of the ball does not fall below the surface of the putting green and can be easily retrieved by handling the ball only

Practice Areas

The practice nets and the teaching mats are closed to all and please adhere to 2m social distancing on the putting green with no more than 2 people at a time. The Putting Green will be partitioned into sections to help maintain 2m social distancing.

2. Before the Round

Bookings

  • Online booking now available with pre-payment to ensure the safety of staff and golfers
  • Maximum two golfers in a group per tee time
  • For social distancing, the tee time will now be 10 minutes apart.

Arrival and Waiting to Play

We would ask that you arrive no earlier than 15 mins before your tee time.

The clubhouse and locker room facilities will be closed, no toilet facilities available.

Please change your shoes in the car park as the Ladies and Men’s locker rooms will be closed.

No trolleys, buggies or other items are available for hire.

We do not have enough parking spaces to block off every other space for social distancing, so please make sure you find a space with nobody changing and unloading their clubs next to it. The overflow car park will be open every day and clearly marked out for additional spaces.

The Pro shop with have a table outside with sanitiser for your use before you enter but should you not want to enter scorecards will be available outside.

The Pro shop will not have more than two members inside at once and signage and floor markings will be made very clear. The Pro shop door will remain permanently open throughout the day and sanitised regularly.

Please use contactless payment in the Pro shop if you are making a purchase. The practice nets and the teaching mats are closed to all and please adhere to 2m social distancing on the putting green with no more than 2 people at a time. The Putting Green will be partitioned into sections to help maintain 2m social distancing.

3. During the Round

Please do not head across to the 1st Tee until the previous group has played and clearly left the tee box. Do not tee off until your allotted tee-time and /or the group in front have reached the first green.

Please adhere to the 2m social distancing guidelines throughout your round. We would suggest that you only look for your own golf ball and if not found within 3 minutes then we have introduced a local rule that you may drop another ball as near to the point of loss as possible, under a 2 shot penalty (non-competition play only).

When you get to the green please do not touch the flagstick and you will see that the hole cups have been turned upside down so you can very simply retrieve your ball without touching the flagstick.

We would also suggest that only one person marks the card if you are doing so but again, we would suggest as you are playing in 2 balls only, why not simply play match play?

Once you have completed the hole please do not head to the next tee if the group in front are still there.

There will be a Course Marshall, to both make sure speed of play flows and groups are maintaining social distancing, as well as making sure that public are staying off the very busy golf course. Please respect the Course Marshalls as they are there to help.

Teeing Areas

Keep two metres apart at teeing areas due to the normal close proximity of golfers to one another when tee shots are being played

General

Stay more than two metres apart when walking to the ball, searching for a ball and playing shots

Do not to touch stray balls

Bunkers

With no rakes allowed on the course, please make your best effort to smooth the sand using your club and/or feet.

Putting Green

Keep two metres apart on the putting greens and not to touch the flagstick.

4. After the Round

Once you have completed your round, do not shake hands or swap scorecards. Please use the sanitising equipment near the 18th green.

If you would like to book another round, please either do so online or call the Pro shop and they will book you in.

Social distancing is as important after a round as it is during the round, so when the round is over all golfers must leave the course and the club/facility immediately so that there are no gatherings around the clubhouse area.

Please do not hang around the Club after play, please change by your car and head off home.

Thank you for observing our social distancing guidance.

Play Safe. Stay Safe.
