The Club has a snooker league, which is open to all members. It is a fun but competitive league and Club competitions are played throughout the year, with a number of Cups and prizes to play for.
Snooker exhibition evenings are held in Epsom’s iconic snooker auditorium to which members, their friends and families are all welcome to attend, previously hosted by local snooker legend and Club member Jimmy White and compere John Virgo, and include a sit down meal.
Snooker Legends come to Epsom
On Monday 23rd October 2017 the Club held the first Snooker Legends Golf Day, an event to kick off the Legends Snooker Tournament held in Redhill. It was a great opportunity for snooker fans to play golf with their sporting heroes, hosted by many ex-World Champions including Stephen Hendry, John Parrott, Denis Taylor, Ken Doherty, Joe Johnson, John Virgo, Tony Knowles, Cliff Thorborn and ex-world champion boxer John Conteh.
The teams headed out to tackle our impeccable course, most for the first time. We witnessed backspin, sidespin, some good follow-through, safety shots were needed at times and of course the odd trick-shot!
A very enjoyable day was had by all.
